What's the cheapest Wash & Fold in San Francisco?
I found a place in the Mission that advertises $.69 a pound, and that's the lowest I've seen. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the challenging question! That's one we don't have an answer to at this time...
why? because Cheap Bastards either
a) wash and fold their own clothes (preferably in a friend's free machines - can I borrow some detergent?)
b) wash their clothes and bring them home wet to line dry (even if it means stringing up a clothesline in your living room)
Clothes are heavy, so even $0.69 a pound adds up, but as we've never seen this service for under $1 a pound, you're probably doing well for youself!
Do any other Cheap Bastards know of a place that will get the job done more cheaply? Leave an answer!
